[...] That's it, actually. I'm playing pool against Parson. The last time he looked away, I replaced the play field with an illusion. I'm talking to you in case he thinks he can guess which of these balls is real based on my expression.
I would call this "putting myself through considerable personal sacrifice," but sometimes unorthodox methods are best when it comes to mastering one's Liminal abilities. Parson's refining his inertia control. Crysta's getting better at spotting my illusions.
Another unorthodox method. I have to drink a shot when Parson pockets a ball. Crysta has to focus her cellular vision and correctly call it when I do an illusion shot instead. We are all under considerable pressure to get very, very good at using our powers.
Now that you've explained it to me, there's clearly nothing fun or frivolous about this situation. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm glad you're having a productive and professional Friday evening at the bar.

Okay. Anything in particular?
DM, 9/1 evening
No, because it would amuse me to imagine you stressing over what to get Crysta that wouldn't earn her disdain.
DM, 9/1 evening
Really good present for Crysta. Got it. Not a problem.
