Fair enough. I might spare you the stories about my brother's antics if they really stress you out that much. I've had years to get used to it at this point. I'm desensitized.

God, no, Raine I'm really fucking invested in your brother's situation. It's so deeply fucked up and I want to see what, if anything, I can do to help fix it. I love to fix things like this. We can solve it.

What I got shitty about was (and ok I'll only say this once and then you can just kind of pretend I never said it) you plucking off your scales.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but outside of giving him a pep talk I don't think there's a lot else we can do for him at this point. Which you're welcome to do. He just won't hear you.

If you don't want me involved just say so, but I'm talking about it and bugging you about it because I want to. And I know more than the average person about how liminality fucks with a creature's creaturehood.

This might be rude of me but I honestly hope we don't find some magic solution for him. I'd like him to learn a lesson in the end.
