I think the Enodia rift is slowing the mutations down, for some reason. The gills came in before I was hired here. The dorsal fin came in while I was away during the shutdown. [...] It's part of the reason I wanted to do the mole experiment. [...] Could be a coincidence.
It's a worthy theory. There's definitely something unique about the Enodia rift compared to the others; it's pinning down what that's difficult. I wonder if other Liminals at the station have similar experiences.
