These are all good ideas. Jack said he might be able to get a look deeper into their minds, but it could damage him if they split apart while he's telepathically linked to them. We don't know why or how that happens, so I've been putting it off.
Sharing their powers was my primary concern about hitching them. But it sounds like most options are going to have some level of risk involved. I think we should just let them know what their choices are and the risks associated with each and let them decide what they want to do.

I'm with you. any amount of stress can make psychic abilities do weird things in my experience, and this is some uniquely high stress. still, it's worth trying. whatever options they decide they're most comfortable with, if I can help out, I will.
if they want to try a hitching, some things to consider are whether their powers are ones they access willingly, are passive, or are uncontrolled. in my experience, uncontrolled powers tend to go off a little right away on the first hitch. weak stuff, but still.
